These terms are the rules for using voiceWeb, a voice generation site made by the Webstuff Warriors team. By signing in or using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use voiceWeb. Our Privacy Policy explains what happens to your information.
About voiceWeb
voiceWeb is an early-stage project run by a small team. It's invite-only for now, and it may change, gain or lose features, have limits on what you can upload, or stop altogether, at any time.
Your account
- You sign in with a Google or Microsoft account, and need an invite code to get in. Invite codes are for the people they were given to.
- You're responsible for what happens under your account, so keep the account you sign in with secure.
- Your username mustn't pretend to be someone else or be offensive. We may change or remove a username that breaks these terms.
- You must be at least 13 years old to use voiceWeb.
Your content
The scripts you write, the recordings you upload and the audio you generate are yours. You let us store them, process them to generate audio, and show them to the people you share them with — only so that voiceWeb can work for you. You're responsible for having the right to use everything you upload.
Voices and consent
voiceWeb can make speech that sounds like a real person, so this matters most:
- Only upload or record a voice that is your own, or one whose owner has clearly agreed to it being used this way.
- Don't pass off generated audio as a real recording of someone, or use it to mislead people about what someone said.
What you mustn't do
- Use voiceWeb to impersonate, deceive, scam, harass, threaten or bully anyone.
- Make or upload anything illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, or that infringes someone else's rights.
- Try to get into other people's accounts or projects, or around the site's limits and invite system.
- Disrupt or overload the site, or upload anything harmful, such as malware.
- Use automated tools to scrape or mass-use the site.
Sharing projects
You choose who to share your projects with and whether they can view or edit them. Anyone you let edit a project can change or delete the scripts and lines in it, so only share with people you trust, and remove access you no longer want to give.
Generated audio
Audio is made by AI models and can mispronounce words, sound wrong, or not match the text. Listen to it before you rely on it. You're responsible for how you use what you generate.
Keep your own copies
We work to keep your projects safe, but voiceWeb may sometimes be unavailable, and data can be lost. Download anything important to you.
Ending your use
You can stop using voiceWeb at any time, and delete your account yourself from the Account page. We may suspend or remove your access, or remove content, if you break these terms or to protect the site or other people.
No guarantees
voiceWeb is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, the voiceWeb team isn't liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for lost data, arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that the law doesn't allow to be limited.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page, and say so on the site if the change is significant. Using voiceWeb after a change means you accept the new terms.
